About Us

Ignition is an IT services organization with clients in seven countries throughout the Caribbean and North America. Founded in 1998 in Bermuda, Ignition has grown significantly over the past dozen years in the Caribbean, Canada and the US. All growth has been organic as we identified customer needs, and invested accordingly.

Graham Pearson, CEO

Graham Pearson, CEO Ignition

Graham Pearson is the co-founder, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Paragon Bermuda Ltd.; CEO of Ignition Bermuda Ltd.; President of Paragon Advanced Development (PARC) USA Inc. based in Atlanta, GA; President of Paragon Advanced Development based in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Director and Manager of Ignition Cayman Ltd. All of these entities are commonly referred to as Ignition.

Graham has spent more than 30 years in the technology sector establishing IT companies from start up through growth and sustainable revenue modes. His past experience of providing CIO level advice to senior management in the reinsurance and finance sectors has helped to shape Ignition’s portfolio of products and services. These services meet the everyday demands of clients who strive to improve bottom line contribution through the use of technology.

Gavin Adams – Vice President, Information Technology

Gavin Adams manages a team of software engineers and systems architects who design, implement and deploy enterprise IT solutions for financial and insurance institutions throughout the Caribbean. Gavin is the principal architect of networks, information security systems, messaging and collaboration services. Michael W. Branco - Sr. Vice President, Ignition Bermuda Ltd.

Michael W. Branco was President and Principal Consultant of Fireminds Ltd. of Bermuda, which was acquired by the Ignition Group in April of 2010. Michael, a lifetime Bermuda resident, oversees the Bermuda market and focuses on architecting the most cost effective technical solutions to clients’ business problems. Michael has over 10 years’ experience in technology solutions architectures, spanning skill sets in software development, infrastructure, computer security, ecommerce and virtualization. Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, studied at the graduate level specializing in Databases & Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University and earned his MBA from the Richard Ivey Business School.

Blair Henderson – Director, Sales and Marketing

“Great services with great value is what Ignition is all about. Clients are the lifeblood of our business. We always strive to provide them with services that help them run their businesses effectively.” Blair Henderson joined Ignition in 2007 as Director of Sales and Marketing. Blair is responsible for all business development activities for the company and its affiliates. He has over 20 years experience in B2B sales and marketing in the US and the Caribbean. Richard James - Director, Technical Services

Rich James has been Ignition’s Director of Technical Services since 2001. He is responsible for service delivery across all company locations. Prior to Ignition, Rich worked for public, private and NGOs in increasingly senior roles. He is a graduate of Carleton University and holds numerous technical and related certifications. Sonya Sherman – Senior Business Analyst, Records Management

Sonya Sherman is an AIIM certified Records Manager with post graduate qualifications in Libraries, Archives and Records Management. She has over 10 years’ experience helping organisations to manage information more efficiently, to comply with regulations and realize business benefits. Sonya specialises in developing solutions, providing RM services, training and advice. She has drafted legislation, international standards and guidelines for records management. Dave Tzagarakis – Senior Manager, Business Development and Operations, Canada

A graduate of Dalhousie University with over 15 years experience in IT infrastructure support and remote network management, David began his career in the telecommunication industry. He started as a support technician, then moved into a project lead role, and eventually became a team leader. Ignition hired him to open the Ignition Support Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia to remotely support the IT infrastructure needs of Caribbean clients. David has been building the Ignition Support Centre team in Halifax for five years. Today it’s an integral part of the Ignition group and a significant contributor to its growth.
